Belinda’s is a family run bakery, shop and tea rooms business. Founded, owned and run by the Ellis family of Ringwood.

Established in 1983 Belinda’s Master Bakers operate 4 shops and a bakery on the south coast of England in Hampshire and Dorset.

Belinda’s shops specialise mainly in bakery goods such as bread, rolls, flour confectionery, pastries and tea rooms. Belinda’s also make Speciality Cakes such as wedding cakes, birthday cakes, christening cakes etc… and offer catering for events.

About Belinda’s

The boss, Peter Ellis, had his first contact with the food industry when he became a chef in the navy at the age of 15. He has worked for Tesco bakery, then left there to study at the royal college of bakers. He married Ruth in 1975. After qualifying, he and Ruth opened up their own business in Bristol called ‘The Oven Door’. After a few years, they moved to Ringwood, opened up 2 shops under the name of Belinda’s and that was the beginning of Belinda’s as we know it today. Business continued successfully and led to the opening of shops in Fordingbridge, Salisbury, Verwood and Ferndown.
